Paint with a Stroke
In summer of 2019, Rick Alltop suffered a stroke. Life for he and his wife hasn’t been the same since. This left him unable to work, unable to walk well, and everyday tasks became challenging and difficult. This was beyond discouraging, and daily life after the stroke became a constant challenge, but God stepped in and provided inspiration for both Rick and Tauni.
This inspiration came through an introduction to Fluid Acrylic Painting. As Tauni extensively researched this method, Rick expressed a sincere interest and Tauni soon realized the therapeutic & rehabilitative advantages this could provide. Rick quickly enjoyed the challenges and productiveness of these art sessions, while Tauni, an accomplished artist in her own right, heeded God’s inspiration and used it as a motivation to start professionally painting with this medium, while helping Rick recover. The outcome was unprecedented: beautiful, luxury one-of-a-kind art pieces.
Empowered with a new outlook on life, for the first time in a while, Rick has motivation and drive to chase down a new dream: bringing beauty to others THROUGH the healing process. We are thrilled to finally share our new artwork with the world.
What happens at a Painting Party Experience?
Gather with a group of friends for a fun-filled event of creativity and laughter, as you create one-of-a-kind, dramatic and contemporary painting masterpieces.
What’s included?
The “Paint with a Stroke” team will bring all supplies needed for you to create a beautiful painting on canvas. You choose your color palette from our pre-mixed fluid acrylic paints. We will walk you through the process step-by-step.
You will learn various pouring methods which will allow you to explore, experiment and design your own individual paintings.
Your paintings will need to dry for 24-48 hours and will be available to pick-up according to the arrangements with your host.
